Appeal Types
If you disagree with the assessed value placed on your property, we can appeal the assessed value and apply for a reduction.
 
Prop 8 reduction in value - When the market value of the property in question falls below the assesed value.
 
Supplemental - The difference between the prior value and the new reappraisal.
 
Penalty Assessment - Penalty is unjustified
 
Escape -The increased amount in valuation over the regular assessed valuation from a delayed reappraisal of the property such as in the case of an audit
 
Disater - Misfortune - Calamity - Property damaged by a natural disater or calamity
 
New Construction -The ownership changed or when the new construction was completed.
 
Base Value - Recently purchased property
 
Classification - Classification and/or allocation of value of property is incorrect
 
Fixtures / Personal Property - Fixtures or personal property value is below assessed values
